SOJC faculty, staff, and GEs use the following resources below to reserve SOJC meeting spaces, conference rooms, general classrooms, and collaborative public spaces inside Allen Hall. Usage fees for non-SOJC requests may be applied in SOJC departmental controlled spaces. Please review the policies for reserving each space.

Small Meeting Spaces

The following small meeting spaces can be reserved via webcheckout.uoregon.edu:

Reservations can be made 15 minutes prior. Room information and accessibility is available when reserving.

Conference Seminar Spaces in Allen Hall

The following SOJC conference seminar spaces can be reserved by emailing sojcfacultyservices@uoregon.edu. Please include requested beginning/end times, room number, date, and purpose.

• 307 Allen Hall
• 314 Allen Hall
• 318 Allen Hall

General Classrooms

Requests to schedule any of the general classroom spaces listed below must be submitted to EMS Scheduling. If your request is more than 72 hours in the future, fill out the online request form. If you are requesting a reservation within 72 hours, call 541-346-6000.

• 221 Allen Hall

Access to 141 Allen Hall is controlled by the SOJC after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. Please email sojcfacultyservices@uoregon.edu for usage requests during these hours. Events will be given priority in these spaces during these timeframes. No food or drinks are allowed in any of the university general classroom spaces.

Production Spaces

The following SOJC production spaces can be reserved via webcheckout.uoregon.edu.

• Editing Bay (114 Allen Hall)
• Podcast Studio (116 Allen Hall)
• Control Room (131 Allen Hall)
• Production Studio (133 Allen Hall)

Reservations can be made up to 15 minutes prior. Room information and accessibility is available when reserving. No food or drinks are allowed in any of the production spaces.

Collaborative Public Spaces in Allen Hall

Collaborative public spaces—including the Allen Hall atrium and communal spaces on the second and third floors—can be reserved by emailing sojcfacultyservices@uoregon.edu. Please include beginning/end times, requested location/area, date, and purpose. When planning ahead to use collaborative public spaces in Allen, please make a reservation to prevent usage conflicts and to ensure that appropriate building usage protocols are followed.
